8FG Super 3.0 to latest 5.0 update firmware
Please read post
http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=412121 Im having trouble in the firmware upgrade process. The software gives me an execution error. The card cant be mounted. Im using XP sp3. The card is old SD standard 128Mb. The TX recognizes it and formats with no problem. Any comments will be appreciated.

try it on a different computer with a newer os on it, is there any other futaba owner close to you that has done upgrade? try to format the card in the tx again and start fresh.
