My hard-headed negligence couldn't be more present. My XP-3A, the Steve, resistor, HP03s mSRX drops like a rock about a minute into flight. I suspect over-current to be the cause. I knew this might happen, but I just have to goof up first-hand! I'm wondering if adding FETs will increase the current as well as decreasing the flight time. I'm also about ready to throw in the towel, buy a toolstick adapter, and flash BLHeli Tail. I guess my questions are;
1: Will a BL Heli TAIL flashed XP-3A still fall victim to over-current? 2: Will doubling FETs on my current (XP-3A, the Steve) overload the HP03s

I reprogrammed the ESC and it stopped losing power. I flew a few flights and crashed a bunch. Right piro's are more like circles, left piro's are fantastic when executed slowly and properly. I broke the tabs off of the batteries, CG is near perfect. Had another motor screw back out during crashes, but I found it on the carpet. I'm getting 3 minutes with the E-flite 200mah 25C. I have a lot of room to trim weight and I will surely do so soon.

I'm right behind you but going the BLHeli route instead. Dylan is hooking me up with some info and I'm trying to do a detailed DIY for going this route with a lot of pics.
