What difference does the blade size make?

I have been wondering about this for a while. Mainly since my bird went down and I have been waiting for the Radix 710 V2 to be available in the UK. I looked through the set up thread and noted the following, all were using Radix or Edge blades:
Blade Size ....Number using
713 ......................3
710 ......................4
696 ......................1
690 ......................1

How different will it feel with 690's compared to 710 and is there a noticable difference in flight character between the Radix and Edge blades? If so how does it feel different?
