I've seen a 10A switching regulator being used to do 2s to 4.5V..which i liked and would probably try at one point if i had a lot of say 320 packs...Sadly...well it's not that sad but i have 6 550 Hyperions coming in so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to fly with 2s 550 packs on a HP05...so that's why i was thinking about maybe making a switching booster circuit.
With all the governor stuff with the flashed esc's etc...there is probably little benefit to doing it for the mins but i still like the idea of having boosted servo and tail power. Maybe doing a booster where only the 3-in-1 and the tail is fed the higher voltage and the main motor's esc just gets the battery's voltage connected to it. |
