Default Highest mAh with a 450 heli

I thought I was ordering a couple of 6s batts for my Trex 500 they were two 2650mAh and one 2800mAh batteries, but when they arrived they were 3s and not 6s.

My question is would these 3 cell batts be too much for my Trex 450's I usually only use 3s 2200mAh and 3s 2250 mAh batts with the 450's.

Thanks in advance.

You could pull it off, but it would throw off the CG enough to where you would need to put some counter weight somewhere. I would return them.

I really depends on the weight of the packs. As Sean says, CG can be an issue. But depending the type of flying, the added weight may make the model fly on the porky side. I have both 2200 packs and 2500 packs for my 450. I can get the 2500 packs to balance if I move them all the way back on the try. But I prefer to fly the 2200 because they are lighter and the model just feels more lively.

OK thanks guys,

I wasnt sure that it would overload the electrics or something, but if its just a COG thing that's fine, but I think I'll take them back as I have million 450 batts and not enough 6s batts for the 500's.

At least for the two 2650 packs, simply connect them up in series for a 6s2650 pack. I am doing that for two 3s5300 packs.
