Need some packs and was wondering if these are too big? http://www.snhobbies.com/product_inf...4ee124b347b7e3 ..
Also what set of allen tools should I get?I bought some Align ones for the 250.Are they good enough or should I get better ones?

I just fixed the link and after doing a search,I bought the 0.9mm and 1.3mm Thorp hex drivers..Are them the only two sizes I need?
Also, What about the lipo in the link I posted?

Link's still not getting anything more than a login page.
You'll need at least 1 1.5mm as well for feathering shafts and blade grips. 2 is better for feathering shafts. You could get a cheapie for the 2nd one though.

Not sure why it keeps doing that..If you can,go to the site and click batterys.Scroll down to the Gravity brand and click it..The ones I would like to get are the Gravity 3S 1000mAh packs ..
I have 2 good allens for the feathering shaft and blade grips..

Thorps rock, never a better hex driver imho and i tried a few... I have SE and its mostly 1.3mm, 0.9 allen does job for grub screws and my trek 450 hex (1.5mm?) works well for blade screws....
Dont go overboard, 1.3mm Thorp is what you need... |

those batteries are too big. i use zippy flightmax 800mAh 20C and they fit great. I also use Turnigy 1Ah and they are slightly too big such that i have damaged a canopy pin with them. the batteries in your link are bigger than those. check hobbyking for the dimensions on the ones i mentioned.
i just ordered 8 800mAh 40C Turnigys from hobbyking. i want more available current and less stress on the battery should help them last longer. FYI i get 4 mins off an 800 pack and 6.5 out of a 1000 pack. but the 1000 is really too long for the heli. and get the mips thorp 0.9 1.3 and 1.5 and a cheaper 1.5 because you need two for the feathering shaft. also make sure to use blue threadlock on everything and red on critical or problematic fasteners.

Well I got good tools so all set there..I had Turnigys,Flightmax and Zippys in the past and they don't last long so I want something else..Being as the link won't work,im starting a new thread with pics of specs ect... Maybe someone will see the specs and tell me if they will work because I really like these packs..If not,I want quality packs and not HK ones..

well like i said the one in your link are going to be too big with stock canopies. i think that higher current demand batteries are going to last longer because they wont be pushed as far. not sure other batteries are going to be that much better. these helis really push batteries and every flight is a big wear on them. i was willing to go from $6 ones to $12 ones but no more because no matter what a battery is going to wear out and become garbage. am i going to get 3x the life out of a $40 battery? probably not.

If your sport/light 3D flying, cheap packs will last. When you start ragging on them and flying hard, they don't last long.Im hard on my helis and made it clear what im looking for.So again,I don't want HobbyKing lipos but thanks for the reply ..
