Can't wait... I better get some serious stick time in, over these next few months, so I'm good enough to fly there!

Hey Todd, its Carlos from Dyer! Hey, this sounds like fun man... I'll try to make it. So all I need is AMA to fly and pay landing fee?

Wassup Carlos!

Yup, just AMA. We are just charging a $10 landing fee. There will be a kitchen with burgers, dogs, chips, drinks.

I'm leaving for IRCHA this weekend so I'll see ya around Dyer after I get back.

Cya!

Sounds great! I'll do my best to make it up there. Have a great time at IRCHA! Take plenty of blades.... I know how you like to scrape them all up!

Are novice flyers welcome? I have been switching over from planes to heli's and have along way to go to flying smack 3D. I am currently more in the smack ground phase.

Any skill level is welcome at a flyin. One of the most enjoyable things at events is helping others with setup, flying, etc.
This was a very fun event last year, a bit windy but great fun. Looking forward to it.

Perfect! I will be sure to bring my two heli's that have GT5's on for you to look at. Thanks for the better manual by way.

I see you're in west melbourne,. I'm in Viera,.. office is in the Gateway drive building at MIMA,.. so we're only a few minutes' drive appart. If you want to get together for any assistance with the GT5 we can meet at one of the local flying locations. I normally fly every sat morning, but I have two golf scramble tourneys to play in this saturday, 8:30 then 2:00 so I don't think there will be any flying for me that day <G>.

Lol, "Smack ground". Yeah, I dont care how good anyone gets... we all "smack ground"! I watched many pro-pilots at IRCHA last week "smack ground".

All pilot skill levels are welcome and all helicopters are welcome. Last year I had a Big Screen Simulator set up for people to goof around with also. Big hit with the airplane guys who wanted to try a heli. (and kept kids out of parents hair, hahaha)

Hope to see you there!

Gwright, I will take you up on that offer in a few weeks. The next few weekends are booked up with family stuff and I will not have more than a few moments to squeeze a few flights in with the 450 (it doesn't have a GT5).

Todd, I assume we pay at the place or do we have to pre-register? Count me in. One of my neighbors may be coming with me too. He flies a 600Pro and Blade helis.

Yes, just pay there.

Our club webmaster is still in the process of repairing our webpage, so currently the forum and pre-reg stuff isn't working.

CYA!!!!

Yep, I'll be there, just added it to my calendar. Once you get a little more stick time under your belt Carlos, I'll let you try my Blade 450X. Don't worry, I'll set dual rate at around 50% so you should be OK.

You'll have to tell me what would be best to bring to this thing since it'll be my first event.

Bring lots of cash so I don't leave your ass stranded in the middle of nowhere...

Don't worry, we'll coordinate! My Rush 750 is almost done. Waiting on a few electronics...
