Hi guys,
does anyone know the correct wiring of that ? I would like to use the same Hyperion Sensor I am using for the SK720's governor to feed the TM1000 telemetry transmitter. Normally Spectrum uses a re-branded Eagle Tree sensor for it. I have made a cable from a satellite receiver that goes from the Hyperion outputs directly into the TM1000...works fine... Also the cable without the extension works on the IO/C port of the SK720. But when I connect the plug WITH the extension, the TM1000 doesn't power up. I tried some switching , but no luck so far. Its not a big deal if it doesn't work, Ill get a second one then. But maybe someone smarter than me could help me out |

And here the answer for all you might wanna do the same :
No it doesn't work because the SK is running on Servo voltage which is 5,5-8 and the TM1000 runs on 3.3 which it gets through the data port and if the Hyperion is shared , the 6 and 3 clash which either limits the SK to 3.3 or overpowers the TM1000. Time to buy a second one.. |

I have a tail servo step down in between the Hyperion and the Sk. You should only need the signal wire (maybe ground) from the Hyperion to the TM1000. The TM1000 can run at 6V no problem.

Just did this,
Grab a sat lead (same plug as the Spek RPM sensor) and remove all but the grey lead, solder that to the signal output on the sensor and plug into the TM1000. Thats all thats needed as the TM1000 is getting power and ground from the Sk720 (same place as the Phase sensor). Works just fine, data in log matches telemetry info (assuming you set the gear ratio correctly, by default in the TX its 1, the ratio is the same as for the SK720)
