Hey so i recently built up an mcpx with mostly microheli parts minus the main hub and frame.
and ive got another thats all stock ( minus extended boom ) the MH one has lots of negative pitch and barely any positive and the stock has lots of positive pitch but barely any negative... i put them both to zero pitch...yet this is the outcome. any idea?

Try adjusting the ATVs or travel adjust on the Tx. Also how do you measure zero pitch? There is a possibility that the swash sit too high/low so you get uneven pitch. Also check pitch curve for linear pitch.

the MH mcpx will fly a little different than the stock heli, i had the same situation before i went brushless but you can even out your positive and negative pitch. Go through the setup video posted and make sure you are in f-mode and your pitch setting under servos is even 70/70

Brushed motors can vary quite a bit. If setup and lipo are identical, this could be the problem. I've got 3 stock mCP X's they each have their own character lol

I just purchased my first MCpx last week. This is what I did to remedy the uneven pitch problem. First set your pitch to zero at mid stick. I like the toothpick method the best for this. Remove the blades and put toothpicks on the blade grips where screws go. From there you can move the stick to full negative, positive and mid stick using throttle hold. You will probably see uneven amounts of full negative and positive pitch. So adjust the ATV points to make them even. For example on my mcpx the positive ATV is at 75 and negative ATV is at 80 to get equal amounts of pitch. My bird flies 10x better now after doing this. Transitioning to inverted flight is much easier.
