hi all
think this is something worth sharing. so ive had my msrx for around 5 months and have to say over all the helis ive owned and flown inc the msr its bar far the most fun for me anyways last night my wife was watching boreing stuff on tv so i grab my msrx and head though to the bed room for a little zoom about, first pack was perfect, stop rest her while i drink whats left of my coffee and off we go for pack two. so the timer on my dx6i said its time to land and i did, landing nose in on the end of my bed and first i always do is hit TH, a second later with the TH still on it revs up to i guess 100% shoots up and backward hit the wall and land on its side making a god awefull noise so i run over to it and quickly pull the lipo ok so i head back to my tx and the thr is at the bottom and the th is still on so what i dont get is how it managed to take off with no thr input and with the th on..weirder still why didnt the esc fry when it hit the deck still running i poped her away after that and grabed a beer. so this morning i did some testing i took her up and hit the th, she fell to the ground like a shot bird, while she was there i moved the thr up and down severial time and nothing happened it flys just like nothing ever happened now ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wow, that sounds odd. I wonder if rebinding might help. I've read with some of these heli's that a periodic rebind is a good idea. It almost seems that for some reason there was a disconnect between your msrx and the transmitter.

+1 that, check the little antenna wire is correctly in place on the heli.

I've had my mSR X ignore throttle hold a couple of times recently. It typically happened after a "hard landing" and it would flop around for a few seconds. Yesterday I noticed that the neg battery lead had an intermittent connection, and realized that the wire was broken, and it was just held on place by the factory glue.
You might want to wiggle the battery leads while powered up to see if there is a similar problem.
