i have 2 swashplates for my trex 600N. "flybared" both are very different in there design but both seem to have a similar text
the silver one was purchased recently so i suppose its the latest version the greenish one came with the heli when i purchased it so i presume its an older version the reason for the post is the new silver one maximums are 12 pitch and 7 cyclic but that binds a certain points as you can see from the scraches on the bottom swash ring. safe limits 11 pitch and 6 cyclic. the green original one i can push to 13 degrees pitch and 8 cyclic with no binding. swash AFR cyclic elev & aile 62 pitch 41 its got a much bigger bearing and bigger surface lower plate area and on the bottom swash ring there is a recess cut out. i could probably push it to 14 pitch and higher cyclic as it seems to still have clearance but have not checked its maximum limits yet. my point is why did align change the design and reduce maximum pitches and cyclic throws obviously ive gone back to the original swashplate and keep the silver one for spares there must of been a reason. and i presume the older swashplates is no longer in production. strange but true. here are compare pics for all. ,

To fix this issue just enable your swash ring function on your transmitter, or add a swash ring to your gimble. Or you can do what I did and buy a Quik UK swash and forget about it.
Oh yeah, I have no idea why they changed it

swash ring is enabled just to clarify so its not relevant and i presume the quick uk is a thinner swash plate so you get more pitch before binding same scenario as the old swash i have on now
but thanks for your thoughts

Can you measure the outer diameter of the balls on the outer swash, if the're different, is the FBL larger?

there is no difference between the FB swash and the FBL swash as far as ball placement. The grey looking swash is the older nitro pro swash, the silver polished swash is the LE which has been out now for a few years.

Original swash and updated swash. If you have an older machine with the older head you can use the new swash but you'll have to cut the pins down by a few millimeters to match the pin length of the newer head. Or buy a newer head. The Quick swash is an excellent choice.
I don't recall but I believe you may also have to redo your links due to the different dimensions of the swash.
