Default 2 2800 mah to balance e8

hi. just finished my e8.. with the 3850 mah 66 thunders i have it is way too nose heavy. im using brushless servos so thats not helping too..ive figured out that around 875 grams in lipo weight will make my heli balance.. looking at some genesis power 45c 2800's .2 come out with 880 grams.. .. do you guys think 2800 is too small . running a 700mx motor ?

U. I'd say you will be well and truly under 4min flights with 2800mah.

All of use have found the e8 nose heavy. I've added a little weight to the tail to make it balance with 3300mah tp.
I get 430 flights.
Most people have found it flys fine a little nose heavy

Default lipos

was eyeing the turnigy nano 3300 25c packs. say the weight 489g . with 2 of them i think i can get away with about 1/2 oz on the tail...

Yes, E8 is nose heavy. Most of us using 'big block' motors are not helping with the issue either. I found I can only use 2650 40C Turnigy without being nose heavy.

Good thing with 2650 packs is that they can be mounted side by side in the battery cage for high CG.

I just finished mine, still waiting for CC to upgrade my V1 to V2. I'd imagine flight times to be around 4 min. Although you are using 700MX, its only spinning 600mm blades therefor it won't be pulling as much current as the same motor working in a 700.

yea.. for mine withthe 700mx and brushless servos.. i seen some genesis 2500 40c that would be perfect... i opted to have Maxamps.com to make me 2 6s 3250 75c packs weighting in at 966g . i may have to add about 1/2 oz on the tail.not sure yet..

I whas fiddling around with the CoG on my 2 E8s for some time.
Added weight to tail fin, changed the lipo size etc.

I ended up ditching all that. And whent with voltz 3700 6s X2 and just be done with it.

Yeah its nose heavy, but I couldent feel any diffrence in fligth.
Im no Tareq, but doing descent 3D as well as big air FAI style flying.

Im using TAGS01 flb system, and it dident seem to care about the CoG be off.
Cant speak for other FBL systems..

Just leave it and fly..
