Logo 400 geometry

I just got a used logo 400 with a Vbar head. In the manual it states ball spacing of 18-20mm. The links looks to be at an angle. Is this how the geometry is or do I 90 everything out?

Mine are at an angle and work just fine. I think that way you get max possible linear throw due to the way the servo arm moves.
