Default Mini CP will not initalize after crash.

A few weeks ago, I crashed my MiniCP and since then, I can't get it to initialize. Any thoughts to what's wrong?

(PS: I'd sell the dam thing for $50 + shipping if anyone's interested).

I had the problem and my vendor told me it is likely that a component has come loose in following the crash. You will either have to buy the receiver or have it repaired.. My vendor told me that Walkera now carries out free repairs on receivers now but you will have to pay for shipping both ways. It normally take a month for the repair to be carried out. I am not sure whether you can approach Walkera directly or have to go through your vendor.

The coil in the bottom right hand corner with the glue on it is usually the problem. In a crash it seems to get ripped off or the solder points snap. I have fixed 2 others on rcgroups. You could have messed with the settings in the radio though and messed up your bind. What happens when you turn on the radio and then the heli, does the heli's leds blink? what color?

Did you have a fixed ID assigned?

Also, along with MescalineDream, I'm curious as to what 'won't initialize' means in your case.

Does that mean that the LED flashes 'slowly' but won't bind or flashes quickly and won't bind or doesn't flash at all?

Thanks for your response. When I connect the battery, I get no lights at all. It's like a dead battery but it's charged (and I tried several others).

Check to see if you have voltage on hte RX board itself.

It is very possible that the electrical connection between the battery and the RX itself is the problem.

Like someone said, check the bottom right corner for the coil. Mine came off during shipping, same symptoms. Nothing activates, no lights etc...

battery connection or coil - I can see in the photo that this coil took a hit, you shouldn't be able to see the wire from the top. It's ok as long as the wire completes the circuit, but I see physical damage that should be investigated.

I'll buy it..

or you could just send the board to me, pay the shipping and I won't even charge you to repair it. Looks like a 5 minute fix to me

Hi. Sorry, I haven't done anything with the Mini-CP since I started this thread.

Actually, I'd like to just sell the MiniCP and Devo 7 with 1 240mah battery and 3 300 mah batteries. I'd sell the whole thing for $75 plus shipping.

Hello. Price drop to $75. Local sales would be $70. Thank you.
