Very nice, but heat shrink is a bit cheaper and caused me no issues during 700 flights.
I am in the build now, but i will be probably making the tail this weekend so it is too late anyway. I bought the TDR because it does not need any upgrades, but i see the clever people always find something worth improving. I just mounted the silver Vbar to the dual mount, i like the bottom part, Spektrum connectors are clear out of the nylon posts. I done the dual mount 2 years ago, with miniV and it was tight fit because of the posts. I just wonder what it will be next. I need to mount YGE with heatsink and it does not fit inside the frame, so i will need to make some holes in the frame, make some frame mounts and solder it directly to the motor...

I got mine today and installed them...
I wonder why something like this isn't part of the default kit. The heat-shrink tubes, though functional, do seem a bit out of place on the TDR. Thanks Rob |

Yes, they do look better than heat-shrink.
I also polished them with displex. A plastic polish for old nokia-type mobile phone screens. That made them shinier and smoother, which I'm assuming can't hurt... Only downside is I don't know how reusable they are. It depends if you're able to get them off the carbon rod. I have CA debonder, but I didn't feel like experimenting. |

I have some on the way as well, did you use thin CA or medium CA?

I used super-thin CA because that is what I have...
