I wouldn't think it would be, but I expect to find somewhat of a average range. I'll check a few folks helis at the field ranging from 500's to 700nitros.
The size of the mating surface between the blade root and grip is what's going to really determine how much bolt torque and grip pressure any given heli will need. I figure some blades might deviate from the "standard" blade root. Heck, just having a roughed up surface might change the reading. It'll be interesting to see what comes out in numbers though

When you have tighten the blades up a few times you would not think twice about it, but when your new to it a number could be helpfull as a starting point. To have a tail smack in the air, that's not good, but to have it on the ground
Oh Sh--.The 600E Pro has alot of grunt even on a slow start up. I would like to think if I am going to break something I had at least got it off the ground first. It would be interesting to see some numbers. THANKS The pretty yellow on the new EDGE blades makes it look mush better, thats my excuse and im sticking with it.

Didn't get a chance to get to the field yesterday or today. Had to cross ship an oscilloscope for a different one.
I'll get some torque numbers from my own helis though and if this thread is still kickin' alright I'll start "probing" other folks helis hehe Just gotta find some more hex-bits that'll fit my driver :/ This thing probably hasn't been used since the HST service mission LOL And you're not kidding about the 600 pro having power ALL the time. Mine ended up tearing the boom clear out of the tail when the elevator horn failed on the 4th flight right before take off. Launched my brand new hyperion packs clear into the bushes :/ That was a 380$ day I'd rather not relive.
