Default flybarless upgrade advise please

I've just ordered a tarot zyx and an align 450DFC head for my stock standard Trex 450 se v2.

The questions are;
Do I need 'flybarless blades' and if so which ones, I haven't been able to find any online for a 450.

Will my stock servos cope?

Any other advise regarding my specific combination of equipement would be greatfully received.

Nb I've been flying for about 3 years and am just starting to thing that require the heli to be inverted.

Thanks

No, you don't need FBL blades. Some people actually prefer FB blades with a FBL unit. I can't tell the difference.

The stock servos for a Trex should be fine. I don't know what servos they used on the SE, but the ZYX can use almost any servo, and Align tends to use decent stuff. Myself, I use some $12 Fusonic digital metal gears and they handle it fine.

If you haven't already, get the USB adapter for the ZYX, it is a lot easier than using the TX to program it. I used it and it is well worth the $6. Setup is actually pretty simple. Don't use the F3C presets, they are kinda sloppy, use one of the 3D presets to start out.

Thanks, I've already ordered the usb connector. I hate using flashing light for config.

Btw: do you know of software for it that will run on linux, or any open source software... I'd probably port it to linux for the communities benefit.

Again thanks
