Default Elevator servo hits tail boom

My x5 is almost built. And i am going to have to put a spacer between the frame and the elevator servo so that the tail boom doesnt hit the servo case. Has anyone else had this issue? Im using jr8917 servos.

Thanks.

Yeah this is common on some servo brands. Won't cause an issue.

I actually shaved my aluminum servo horn down a little with a dremmel, so that the arm can travel a little further on the elevator. this allows for some really fast flips and rolls. but if you don't need super fast rates, then you probably will be fine with the stock set up.

I spaced my servo out as I had all sorts of case interference issues...

Worked out well

i don't have any issues like that with the horns i just put on there. i just decided to get a few sets of servo horns to try out after my tip over and 2 of my horns breaking,

these work out the best with the stock gaui servos, i did not need to trim the servo horn down to clear the tail boom., i have some horns that come with the align 550 but you need to trim those down so they don't hit the boom. i also think they may have been a bit to long, i get blue sooner with these horns on my beast x..

align servo horns part number H50113 - for DS510, DS520, DS610, DS620 servos but fit perfectly on the stock gaui servos.

you need to adjust the limit setting on the beastx until it doesnt do that.
