Blade Selection

Hello. I've got a 700LE that still has a flybar on it. I'm currently running 690D blades but would like to maybe try something different, like a 710. For those with experience with the different blade, suggestions would be appriciated. I've been looking at the Radix, Scot Grey, and Edge. Thanks in advance!

Can't go wrong with Radix 710s, been flying Radix for three years on this machine, FB and FBL.

V1, haven't flown V2

. The SB (Stick Bangers) version are excellent too.

Ok, yea....the reason I was wanting to try something different is I don't fly hard enough, yet atleast, the really use the 690's. Do you think the v1 or v2 would be better for flybarred....

V1 I know, they are great, V2s, I haven't tried yet, but then again everything I've flown from Curtis is top drawer, perfectly balanced strait out of the box. You can't go wrong.

Thank ya'll. I ended up ordering some Scott Grey 710's. I almost bought some 6 months ago and I found some on sale so I still wanted to try them out. If I don't like them I will def be trying to Radix 710's.

I personally like the 690mm over the 710mm blades I have flown both. I think it depends on your flying style and head speed? I like to fly 3-D so for me the 690's load the head less and seem to be not so touchy. Where as the 710's I have flown feel very responsive in turns and stuff + they load the head allot more but I think if you run 710's with a lower HS then they would probably be OK for mild 3-D and big air flying. I think it's all just a matter of opinion.

Yea, I like the 690's fine but I just wanted to try something different. I can't do much 3D yet (i want to though) so I wanted to see how a different blade felt

I don't personally like how the 700+ blades feel on a 700N for 3D but the 693 Edge SE blades are pretty awesome. They are a quicker flybarless blade and pretty quiet.
