I need some help, please. I can't find the working frequency for the new DS415M (both cyclic and tail) servos. BeastX's site doesn't have it and neither does Align's. Did some searches on several forums and no luck. The only info I know is that the center position is 1520us.
I'm setting up my new 250 DFC Pro with the AR7200BX. I'll appreciate any help you guys can give me. Thanks, Chep

Hey Chep, I went to HH site and found the ar7200bx, looking at the tab under manuals and support it gives the user instructions. I found nothing in reguards to servo freq. or even recommended servos other than they want top quality stuff made for FBL setups. I imagine you've already seen this but I was curious about the "frequency" of the 415. I just ordered a ds425 as tail for mine but can find no info on either of these two seemingly "new" servos. But, they are digital and very fast, I like that.

That's right, GeorgiaBoy. I checked there, too. I am assuming the 415 works at 65Hz and the 425 at 333Hz, similar to the old 410/420 versions (according to BeastX's site). I'm about to maiden the heli and I'll see how they behave.
Thanks for your input Chep

My98, is your heli FBL? I'm not familiar with the lack of flybar and am interested in the "need to know the frequency" part of this. The AR7200 does have pot adjustments for cyclic and tail but that is all I know. Can anyone expound on this? The FBL upgrade is approaching the cost of the bird and I'm looking for pro's and con's. Thanks.

Sky, found the same prob on my first bad plant with the B450, IF you build it WHY cant you stock parts for it?!? Chep, is the pot adjustment the way you set freq on the FBL? I still dont get the frequency adj on a servo that plugs in. Please be patient, I'm new at this. Congrats on the good flight, anytime I walk in the house without pockets full of busted parts is a great flight. The 500 actually can blow the mosquitoes away if you keep it tight enough.

GBoy,
You set the frequency by going to setup menu D. Then with the rudder stick you go through each step and look for the LED color that identifies the frequency. The setup process is quite easy to follow. Fine tuning the heli takes a little bit more experience. Since I'm a beginner, too, I'm going to be reading and testing a lot until I get this little bird flying like my 500 (ridiculously stable). Chep

So the freq. requirement is FBL specific. It would seem that a servo for fbl would give the frequency, I'll have to do more reading on this. Is fbl worth the extra money? If it will help me fly I'd be interested. I'm not doing 3D yet, still just swoopin' around with piros and working my way up to a loop.
98Stang, wife and I rolled down that beautiful coast you live on last summer, rode the touring bike, plan it again this season.

If you are using the stock esc I'd run them at 65hz to avoid overloading the bec, honestly though even with ds95i's I don't notice any difference between 50hz and 300hz, other than increased power draw.
