Default Scale Trex 250

Gday guys

I am in a bit of a pickle ??

Im trying to set up a scale 250 and i don't have to mounting blocks i seem to have lost them does anyone have a idea where i may be able to get some??

They are just little wooden blocks. Go to a hobby shop like Hobby Lobby or whatever you have down there and get a sheet of hobby wood and make your own.

if they are anything like the 450 ones they are about 2.5mm thick, glue enough together until you get the height you want its trial and error.

Hi Brad. You could consider just using a piece of 3mm ply. Check out the photos.

I found that using a ply "platform" I solved another problem these scale 250's have and that is COG. I found that I had to get the weight as far forward as I could manage so I made a platform with a toungue sticking out the front to mount the lipo. I only needed a 1mm shim at the back to achieve perfect tail boom alignment.

I just screwed the heli mechs to the ply platform and only the one screw at the front to fasten the whole assembly into the fuse. I use the supplied foam boom support as the rear location. The whole thing is so easy, it makes service a breeze.

I still had to use lead for COG but not as much as before...

Hey mate thanks heaps for that info you have really helped me out... I'm still fixing the help from the crash i had but once its all set up and right ill be putting it in the fuse
