Will these ESC's cause any issues with a Pyro? I seem to recall reading comments someone how some incompatibility issues with some ESC's and pyro motors?

I would get a HeliJive but it seems a waste to spend the $$$ if im not going to use the BEC (running HV servos) or the gov.

How durable are the land struts on the Diabolo? What material are they made from?
From what i can see on Mercuriells build videos they looks thin and easy to break...??

They're some sort of light metal I think, none less I certainly thought they are beefy IMO. You can always order the CF bows and pipes to for max bling

The struts are very durable and are a good shock absorber. They have saved me a few times. They will bend on hard impact saving the frame. I would not get the CF ones personally, though you may not crash as often as me.

Im not interested in C/F struts.. The stock struts sound good to me.

I like to keep a small supply of spares to cover small incidents i.e. hard auto = kills landing struts or minor boom strike. If the struts were weak/ brittle i was going to order a handful of them.. Sounds like i can get away with just one or maybe two.

The struts are alloy and do deform in severe impact which absorbs the shock - they are easy to bend back into shape

FYI : Landing struts are not interchangeable. Rear is taller than front, in order to raise the tail off the ground.

Pics of the struts after the 20 foot blade stop drop. Luckily it landed square on the skids. They absorbed much of the impact. Also a pic to show the blades which cracked near the root due to the force of the landing. I only needed to change a servo arm, feathering spindle and ordered some bearings just in case.

I ordered both. Normal for every day, CF for events and demos.

The metal/alloy skid will do me just fine... Im becoming pretty proficient at my auto now so unless i have a complete brain fade (which will happen from time to time) the skids will work well..

This waiting for my kit to be ready is going to paaaiiinnful... I cant wait to start building but i think it will be August before my kit is ready and no doubt a few more weeks getting through customs before i have it in possession. So it might be Sept. before she is airborne...

I need a few more videos and pics to be posted to feed my diabolo addiction..
