working out the details to close down a taxiway at the local airport for a 1000' long flightline. Hotels and restaurants are within 4 miles of the airport which is located right off of I-77 exit 19. Stay tuned...

We received permission from the Airport Commission last night to go ahead full force with our funfly. It is going to be a good one! Great place to fly, convenient to food and hotels! Stay Tuned

Total n00b here but havin' fun learning and crashing. I have a 450 but I'm currently out of commission needing a set cyclic servos. Will there be anyone there selling parts? If so, I'll make the trip. It's about 3 hours coming from Lynchburg.

I Googled Adventure Hobby in Christiansburg. Anyone know how they are for Align/Clone 450 parts? They are on my way to the Smackdown.

Adventure Hobbies is down the street from me. They're generally pretty useless and don't really support the r/c hobby much. Even if you call and they say they have something in stock, they may not actually have it. They're well known around here for saying "Oh we just sold our last one yesterday" when they never actually had it.

You could stop by and you might get lucky but I wouldn't expect much from them.

Thanks proto. I'll probably stop in there on my way through unless you know of another LHS somewhere in Roanoke or Christiansburg area. So far, I've had to buy everything on-line.

Well, there is Crossroads Hobbies in Salem. It's a good shop but I don't know how many T450 parts they have.
