James, How in the WORLD do I get the black crown gear back on?

Someone PLEASE help. I'm no newb, but my goodness I can not get this thing back on to save my life!

Can I get an order of things? IE: does the TT/metal gear go on then the crown/main shaft?

Doesn't need to be super detailed, but a basic run down and order of assembly. The manual is obviously lacking.

If I do put the mainshaft/crown gear on first, I can't get the metal gear on the TT.

I don't have one but I bet you need to have both gears meshed and in place and then slide the main shaft and the tt shaft into place.

Finally got it on there, but I was seriously worried I was going to screw up the crown gear wedging the metal gear in there. I put the mainshaft and crown gear in first, then using some hemostats put the metal gear in.
