So my gear was running really close or rubbing that servo fet. I took a diamond file and held it against the gear and turned by hand gently the head about 50-75 rotations taking about 1mm off the gears diameter. I sprayed it with can air and it now easily clears the servo by .5mm

I thought of doing this too, but was afraid it would compromise the gear mesh/integrity.
Mind posting a few pics of the gear after your fix? Sent using TapaTalk on my HTC Evo 3D Please excuse spelling/grammatical mistakes due to fat thumbs.
