So while waiting for parts ive been practicing inverted autos in pheonix. I can land on target from any height using forward cyclic (coming in nose in inverted) And also by rolling left or right (also nose in inverted)
My question is... Is it possible to come in from the same orientation and flip using back cyclic? The only way i have managed is to turn the rudder 180* then pull back cyclic. Sorry for rambling but I really want my dfc head so I can finish setting up my BeastX. I decided to go FBL after I came in hard doing FFF and totalled my FB head ![]()

I think it will be easy if the wind direction is right.

Yes if you dive fast and make a quick flair you'll get plenty of HS for making flip

Not really unless you come down fast, flair quick and then back flip. Really only possible on a 700 though.

You need need to come down pretty fast so when you flair you get an extra burst of h/s just prior to the flip.. The flair end up basically being your brake. |

he's asking if he can flip into the direction he is coming in on the auto. Yes you can do this if you get the flip done with before you need to actually flair, but if you try to flair with a flip into the direction of the airflow you'll just be ordering parts.

Yes this is what I meant. If I flip back the heli tracks around really tight and there is no speed washed off to land
