Default One day shoot prices

Hey you guys that do AP professionally as a business what would you guys charge for a one day shoot. I know there are some variables but Im trying to work it into my budget.

Odds of copter crashing=y
Cost of repair to all equipment=x
Cost of all capital=z
Cost of your time=t
Cost to go to jobsite=a
Your value in experience=v
I'm not a theoretical mathematician but those are most of the factors. It's high cost, high risk and you should get paid for that.
BTW I've never made a dime in AP, yet.

I just read this on aplanding, seems the going daily rate is 3500-4500. 350-450 picture service.

Let's figure this out. If I can get 300 jobs lined up at 3500 a day I could retire in one year

remember Steve Martins' calculation? $1,000,000 per ticket, one show...done!

I just went back to look at this thread, it was a few years old. I guess it would all depend how hard you worked at it and how good you were and what type of clientele you target. This may have been california real estate and movie work?
