The speed controller on my new Trex 500 would not initialize today, worked fine last time I flew. Everything else works but it's like the ESC is not getting power. I think I'll plug a servo into the throttle channel and make sure the receiver works.
I wonder if I can send this back under warranty? |

Back the motor pinion away from the main gear and snug it back down. Turn on tx with throttle low. Move throttle to high. Power up heli. The tx should give you some kind of warning your not at low throttle. Quickly move throttle to low. Power down heli and tx. Then power up in normal manner. What tx/rx are you using? If the rx is lighting up, then you should be getting power to the rx. But if it doesn't see low throttle, it won't initilize and will not respond to throttle input. You might even try re-binding the heli first.
