Default DJI Naza/ F450

My first proper flight with Naza/F450 today! And found it a little hard to control.
Was a little windy (10-15kts) and a bit gust - so maybe that was part of the reason. Plus I need to play with the gains.
I've FPVed about 5 different planes, 3 helis and 3 other quads so I am pretty experienced.
The Naza easily better than the gaui or Fyetech controlller - but suprised how much it drifted with the wind, and how much the gusts affected it.

I rarely crash my stuff, but today I crashed twice! though the 2nd one was because i wanted to check LOS how it looked. I took off the goggles and lost orientation!

Not bad! I love the sound as she chopped thru the tree top!!!

I imagine the foam landing gear extensions has a lot to do with not only the control, but the drift, too.

There's a guy over at the Mulitrotor forum making cf landing gear extensions.

Maidened my hexa today, too, in front of the house.

nice vid. I might change to a hex soon.

Flew yesterday with little wind, and flew much better....but....

prop failure - then an arm broke - from low height onto very soft ground.
so they are not so tough!

She was doing so good, too! What failed on the prop? Did it break in flight or did the hub come loose? Stock DJI props?

stock DJI prop just broke apart. I was only hovering

It's possible it had a tiny fracture from a previous know, or just a part failure.

It sound like a bearing is going out or maybe just bad vibes. Did you balance the props?
