I own both, and I get asked about crash costs at Fun Flys, particularly the tail boom cost on the Goblin.

Here is what I tell people. If you destroy the tails on both, here are common parts. Since I included the belt on the goblin, I included the front TT gears for the X7.

I listed what it takes to replace a boom on the goblin, there are a couple of things like the nylon bolts and double sided tape and rear box nyloc nuts that won't come off the old one.

If you crash hard enough to bend the tail brace clamp, I listed that as well for the X7.

at least for that price you would have a extra boom laying around if you had a X7

If your going to a 700 class, just know its around 2000$ to start.

Have a ruff auto or minor crash , blades alone are over 100$
Probably 200$ in best case scenario, 3-400$ if you lose batterys and such

If I wanted to be serious about any 700 class , I would have 3000$ to start with lipos
And 1000$ crash funds, I'm looking at the 630 because it would use my x5 pack size times 2.
Or the smaller one if it uses my x5 packs.

Synergy E6 will also use the same lipos as the X5 (times 2). Since I have 6 packs for the X5, it would be perfect..2 packs flying, 2 packs cooling and 2 packs charging at 5C

Plus you have EVERYTHING to upgrade to a 700...particulary if you buy a KDE direct motor, since it should also provide enough power for 700 mm blades (guessing).

Plus you have belt or TT options, plus its designed by matt botos, not some boffin who can't fly.

Have a friend who flies fai and he uses the 600 KDE motor and it has tons of power even in the electric rave 90 And is light compared to most 700 size motors

Sounds even better !
Checking out the KDE direct website, I would get the 530kv motor - 7,500w max power
Plus I would also purchase the flybar less main rotor housing for the e6

I got a xera 4025/3y-560, sitting here waiting for a good home.

Plus torq servos, heli jive 120hv , and using my packs from my x5

I say a gobby 630 is a perfect fit
