Got tired of grabbing the Tx and the Heli, putting batteries in the pocket etc each time i would go out with the msrx.
So picked up a aluminum case with foam, spent 1/2 an hour cutting and trimming and now at least all parts and Tx have a nice neat place. even put in a small plastic case from the dollar store for spare parts etc.

Very nice what a great idea! Might have to do this too with a pelican case or something!

If you have a local Harbor Freight or if you don't you can get one of these cases from their web site for $24. I already had a case for my radio so i made mine to carry more helicopters and batteries and a charger, but you can make it to fit whatever you want to carry. It also has the egg crate foam to cover the tools that I have in the lid.

Here's another way to set up the Harbor Freight case:
http://www.hacksmods.com/2012/06/mic...carrying-case/ I've done this one and it's great! The only downside is that you no longer have room for the tools at the top. It's a tradeoff. |

Nice.
I took my mSRX with me on holiday. I put it into the plastic PET mould it came in, which acts like a capsule and put in my backpack that way. |
