question about tenergy batterys...

hey pilots! question.. before i buy a tenergy battery.. for my blade 450 3d.. i already have a eflite battery, but will the balancer /charger charge the new tenergy? or do i need a whole another charger set up? thanks guys!!

It should work. I use the stock charger with stock battery and my turnigy 2200mah battery.

I just upgraded to a 80 way 6amp balance charger and it charges my 450 batteries in 30 min I love it. It also made my sr batteries charge in 26 min used to take 90 with junk stock charger

my sr charges in about 30 mins at .5 i think,... and can you share a link on were to buy that..thanks guys for the info!! happy flying!

tenergy are reasonably good, but WAY overpriced.

Go with Gens Ace instead. More punch, longer life, 1/2 the price.

+ if you decide to get a higher end bird like a Mini Prôtos down the line, the Tenergy won't be enough output.

I just bought a charger from my lhs. Its made by dynamite. Its the prophet sport duo. I can charge 2 batterys at the same time,adjustable up to 6 amps, only does 2s or 3s lipos though. Takes about 45 minutes to charge both,built in balance ports with ac wall plug. I payed 99 bucks for it, might be cheaper elsewhere, never checked online.
