Helicopter will enter the 200m course, level, between 3m and 20m altitude, exit, turn around, enter from opposite direction, and exit. flight path must be along, and close to the paved runway, to be measurable. 2. The helicopter must not vary significantly altitude or dive through the course. 3. The pilot has 3 and 1/2 minutes to complete as many attempts as possible and land before the time runs out. Allotted times may be reduced depending on number of entries. 4. Upon finishing the runs the helicopter will land/auto as soon as possible and re-join the staging area. 5. Failure to enter or fly level will receive a no-time for that pass, but the pilot will be allowed to “retry” immediately from either direction. 6. The pass or run must never cross the safety line, or will result in elimination from the contest. 7. A pilot can fly one and only one entry per class up to two classes. He/She can only claim one prize even if they set records on both classes entered, but the records/trophies will remain for the individual. 8. Homologation rule for stock class: a model helicopter must be in production a minimum of 3 months in the market and have produced a minimun of 20 kits available to the public before the date of the event. The model must be sold as a complete kit, not a semi kit or a it with added modifications. Optional gearing options are consider stock variations of the stock kit. Burden of proof falls on the manufacturer 9. Aftermarket motor mounts may be used in the stock electric class to allow for mesh adjustment as long as they fit in the same frame location and, may NOT be wider than the helicopter frame spacing, or the stock motor mount, whichever is widest. ![]() Other notes: • Pilot may choose the turn around maneuver of their choice, stall turn, procedure turn or split S, but it can never cross the safety line and be completed before entering the course. • All machines will be subjected to brief airworthiness inspection. We reserve the right to denied machines that appear unsafe at any given time. • All Pilots must be able to fly in control at high speed at approximately 200 meters pass themselves to fly the course. Failure to show safe control will result in disqualification from the event. Post or PM me if you have specific questions. Clarifications and definitions:
Classes Definitions: 1. Electric Stock (including mfg stock cell count) 2. IC Stock (internal combustion glow and spark ignition) 3. Unlimited For Stock class: 1. stock frames No 2nd party aftermarket conversions allowed 2. A motor, or engine, and battery cell count voltage within the original manufacturer specifications Motor or engine must fit on stock mounts. 3. Any canopy identical in shape & dimemsions as stock are allowed(width, height, etc) Allowed variations -Stock definitions refer to the helicopter chassis. Motors and engines can be reworked and modified. -Streamlined canopies are allowed as long as they are made for the model in question and they are commercially available and meet the homologation rule of availability and quantity before the event date. -Skids and landing gear must be stock. -tail fin can be different shape or covered, but must protect tail blades from ground impact. Horizontal fins may be discarted. -frames can be slighly modified in IC to allow for diferent muffler, or air filter, or starter, but engine MUST FIT IN STOCK mount. All/any of these minor mods must be approved by tech inspection and/or CD -Stock classes can use diferent main gears + pinions as long as they are made from the stock Mfg for that model line. -Large helis such as the XXtreme or Shape 8 running 14S will qualify in the Electric Stock class as these are the Mfg limits. -IC engines do not exceeed Mfg recomended displacement and must fit in the stock unmodified mounts. (700nitro--1.2cu, 600nitro--.65cu 700 & 800gas must fit in stock mount) - Afterarket Electric motor mounts that provide mesh adjustment are aceptable. (see rule 9) - Single piece frame stifeners are allowed as long as they fit the stock frames without modifications besides intallation holes. In the light of several kits about to be released such as the Rush 750, TRex 700 V3, and the Whiplash gasser, homologation standard has been change to allow these and any model to be release in the near future in the stock class.
Rule 8 is been updated to 30 days instead of 3 months, meaning 20 kits must be available for delivery 30 days prior to the event date to qualify for stock class. Santiago |

![]() Online Registration will close this Friday August 10 at midnight. Will only register 5 more at the Jamboree, or when we reach 60. Event time constraints forces this. Santiago |
