Default Hello all from Kingsland, GA

Hello all,

About 6 years ago I bought a Blade CP and flew maybe 15 times but never got past tail in hovering before moving and getting too busy. Recently when spring cleaning I found it in the box and decided to give it a try again.

I have now decided I want to actually learn how to fly now so I have bought Real Flight 6, a Blade mCPX bnf, and a Blade 450 3D RTF (with DX6i). I know, not the best, but 2 helicpoters and a decent radio for $530 fit my budget (I love the mcpx so far).

I really hate vibrations and wobbles so I'm pretty reserved in my flying because I'm not confident in my skills to make my heli's smooth again after any mishaps. When I get the money I really want to build a kit (probably 550 size) so I'm more confident in putting them together after mishaps.

Already learning a lot from you guys and am looking forward to a long and happy relationship

Thanks dfgipe, if you aren't having fun then you aren't doing it right.

Hi Aerwen A 500 clone kit is possible for that price range I've got a EXI and a HK kits , I think the EXI is a little better quality, My 500 is easier to fly than both my Align 450 and a Blade SR And since I've upgraded the 500 to a Flybarless Align DFC head it's a whole lot easier The only thing about going bigger is any mishaps ,Cost more to repair I bought the second HK 500 because was cheaper to buy a whole kit than buy the pieces i needed to repair a crash
