Resizing H-arm on tail

Just curious how people are filing the H-arm to reduce slop. Is the inside of the H-arm filed with a rat-tail file or something? And how do those pins stay in the plastic links without any type of locking mechanism such as an e-clip? If slop remains after resizing ball links, what would be the next step? Thanks friends

There should be no slop in those H arms. Did you really mean "binding"? The context of your post would indicate as much.

My 6HV's arms were too tight, so I used a hobby file where the H arms rub together to smooth out tail movement. The pins are just held by friction; I know a handful of people have had problems with them coming out, but I never have. Once you get the ball links and H arms smoothed out, you shouldn't have any other binding sources in the tail.

With the ball links popped off, there was hair of stiffness left. I'll file where the plastic rubs together. Thanks fit the tip bum.
