Worth changing 2600 mAh T plug to EC5?

I'm building an Align 500. The 2600 mAh batteries I'm starting with came with T plug connectors. I've read a number of posts where people like EC5 for 500 and above. Is it worth changing the batteries to EC5 connectors? I have the connectors and the time. There is no connector on the ESC yet. The heli is rated 2600-3300.

I switched and would never go back. They are so easy to solder on. Tip: Stock up on them cheap from hobbyking.. I bought 30 pairs one time since they are only $1.20 a pair.. a year later I am running low! HK are the good ones.

Yep hk ones work better than the original ones and 10% of the price!

fwiw I don't like the ones from epbuddy, the HK ones look to be the same as the elite ones which are quite a bit better but also a lot more expensive. I ordered a bunch of the HK ones yesterday.
