A quick question. Is the metal plate (MIK4088 Metal Motor Plate) a good choice or just a waste of money? //Roger

It's not an upgrade, the kit comes stock with a mount for motors with 30mm bolt spacing. If your motor has 25mm spacing, you'll need that part, MIK4088.
