Can I make this shaft work?

dangit.....
I have an ALIGN 500 esp fbl and I ordered some new main shafts....the ones I got are 4.5 mm ? shorter......
can I shorten the links to the blades to make this work? It looks like it will if I push the washout base all the way up to the head block.

if its the old 3G FBL head then its the perfect shaft and thats exactly what your supposed to do

if its the newer EFL FBL head then they wont work

cant tell from that pic

is the washout separate to the head block? if so you can use those shafts

yes ...they are separate...the washout is pushed all the way up.
