If you want to ship one, let me know. I'd be more than happy to receive it and take care of getting it back to you when you head home. There's a FedEx distribution center not 2 miles from here and you can have it shipped there. Just let me know.

I think "fun as hell" is an understatement. We worked our asses off but had a BLAST hangin' out with everyone... I am SOOOO looking forward to this year's event.

I don't know about renting them, but I wouldn't mind buddy-boxing on just about any of mine if you're in a jam. The hardest part comes from negotiating any resulting damage if you crashed. I don't think wear and tear would be a big issue as long as it doesn't take a dirt nap. Touchy subject really.

I should be coming to this event. A few questions

My skills are very limited, hover inverted, ugly tic tocs, figure 8s etc, should fly or watch?

I'm going to be coming from Utah and staying in carlsbad at the in laws house, how far away is the event from carlsbad?

FLY! If you read back through the posts, you'll see several people with your same concern. If most of those people don't fly for that reason, they're fulfilling their own prophesy (that there won't be very many people at their skill level flying at the event).

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

Was that one of the Aero Hobbies Fun Flies? Anyway, I plan to be there, proudly flying my upright and inverted forward circuits (and throwing in a few rolls, flips, and stall turns).

Yup that was it. I had the 450 that kept breaking then and you were helping with the feathering shaft.

If you fly you are going to crash.

Default Beginners Corner!

Beginners; don’t hesitate to bring your helicopter(s), you will not be alone!

I will be there hovering around with my gasser and if I’m lucky and get a lot of flight time I might even progress to some nose-in hovering

Skiddz, WillJames and everyone else,
Do you think there would be some interest in having a beginner’s corner?

There will be a "bunny slope" for Hard-Kore(™) hovering.
