Default Last one?

After the experience I've had with the v200d03 and several others are having it with that heli, I might have to stop buying from this company. I still love my first heli, the v400 and I like the mini and v120d02s. But I thought I was going to buy the new 120d02s instead of repairing the one I have again, but I don't think I want to spend a couple of hundred on Walkera again. Hate that my experience was bad, but what is up with their quality control? WHS will probably have to send my heli in because he couldn't figure it out and he used a lot of his time which I hate. But I may not get it back until Christmas time if it is sent to Walkera. Why can't they say "sorry, here is another one and I hope this works better"? Issues happen with other helis, i have had one or two things with my Trex 450, but its pretty easy for people to figure what is the problem and I will have it fixed and flying well soon.
Saying all of this because I was going to buy the new d02s version 2, but after thinking about it there are options to buy an X2 and a Trex 250 from some guys on here. It might be safer spending the cash there. The D02s and Mini helped me gain confidence for flips and inverted flights. But I will have to resist the urge when they release the new helis. I keep getting drawn into the trap. Anyone else feeling the same way?

Well inner3, I've resisted jumping into the new Walkera TX's and helis. I am very happy with few of their older models (CB100, 1#A), but to invest in their new technology and be dependant on their attitude, I'm not willing to do.
I also own a trex 450 SE V2 and a few other 450 clones in v2 and pro. I'm very happy with these helis and the spectrum tx's and rx's. (It's funny to see what $ 120.00 can get you in the clone market that actually flys incredibly well!)
I'm also relunctant to invest in the FBL market yet, until we have proof of some solid rx/servo technology that is "bulletproof".
Having said all this, I haven't totally written off Walkera just yet. Just waiting to see their new products prove themselves and Walkera change their customer service policies. (it may be a long wait... I'm in no rush.)

Yeah, no rush either. I still think one day they will get it down; just not sure when. I think the Devo line is a step in the right direction. But they should think about the Golden Rule. How would they feel if they bought something, and it didn't work as expected? Chevy had to learn that the hard way and almost went out of business. Hope that doesn't happen to Walkera. I would like a 250 size heli, may look at the tarot version.

Whats up? Tarot doesn't push a 250 like their 450 pro V2 FBL. The trex 250 pro DFC looks good but I'm still waiting on the 300X. Solo pro has a 287 that looks good about the size of 300X but no telling when it will be out.

being fairly new to the heli world i tried the v200d01 and really liked it! then my mcpx brought me all kind of troubles... plus i had problem with my dx6i... sold eflite and spektrum and now with a tarot 450 pro, v200d03 and devo TX. really happy with those! i would like to fly more with my d03 but i only have one pack right now and waiting for 2 more from china. I know some had problems, but mine flies really well!

Mine flew well for about 3 flights, then troubles for no reason. No crashes and I had problems. Turns out something is so terribly wrong the engineers at walkera don't even know what is wrong. I've been without my helicopter for 1 month now, a little pissed that 300 bucks is sitting around not being used and I could have used that money for other things I need. Wondering about the 300x, but don't want to have as many problems. WIth the trex250 I can use my devo 8s and a receiver I have sitting around. I wanted to trade my 8s for a 12s but that probably won't happen.

You hit the nail on the head Vronny!
I think the 300 size is the best combo as far as stability/park-flyer. I found this out when I got the 1#A. Very docile CP, excellent park flyer, too bad they never improved on it.
I'm also waiting to see who's going to put a new 300 out there. I also heard good things about Walkera's new 120, but not willing to re-tool in TX's for one heli.

The gaui x2 is supposed to be a little bigger than the 250. I'm really looking at that now. I have a 120d02s, but I have spent more time repairing that helicopter more than any others I believe. Repairs are fun every now and then, but not one or more times per week.

You have to love to tinker and trouble shoot to be a happy walkera owner, a little patience doesn't hurt either. There is a very steep learning curve with walkera. I would like the new v120d02s but i too really dont want to shell out for another tx, then have 2 or have to convert all my walkeras to devo I have a 250 on a 2702rx, lots of fun but costs more than twice as much to fix than my v120d02. The 250 has issues of its own as well, and really not a backyard flyer. I want to convert it to tt, but that's just more money if I touch the tail accidentally.
As far as walkera's customer service, well it's china... From what I have read, I think status and revenue are the driving factors over there.
As far as gaui, I have an x7 and I love it, but their heli's from the x4 and under were having problems last I checked. That may be delt with by now. The x2 is around a 300 I think?
The 130x seems to be getting good reviews in general and seems fairly durable, that makes me curious about the 300x as well.
Besides one or two micro heli's I think the 450's and up are where it's at. The bigger the better, if your wallet can handle it. I just couldnt say no to flying my buddies 700 several months ago before he moved away and now I'm hooked. About to plan my second 700 I told him if he was here I'd give him a black eye for pushing me off the cliff.

One day I'll move into the 500 and up club, but not yet lol. I love smaller helis because if I only have time for a quick flight I can do so almost anywhere, even run downstairs. Now the I've begun 3D with the 450, I prefer a lot of space.
I really did love the v120, but I want a 250 pretty bad. It was a great size, and there is no telling when I will get my v200d03 back. When I do get it back, if I like the trex enough I might sell it, who knows. I have car shows coming up in september so can't really afford to have both helis. Took it up yesterday to make sure everything is right for the next owner and when it lifted off, I almost thought I'm keeping it! lol
