Default Indestructible

The title says it all. I have been flying -- and crashing -- the mQX regularly for six months and have yet to replace anything other than a bent blade. I was initially impressed by its crash-resistance against terrestrial obstacles such as house plants and asphalt, until I took it on vacation to a lake a couple of weeks ago.

With an 808 camera mounted on top, I descended too quickly, got into vortex ring, and lost it in about 4 ft. of water . Fished it off the bottom a few minutes later, dried it in front a fan for about 30 minutes, and it was as good as new! I was amazed. The 808 didn't fare as well (power button inop), so I need to buy a card reader to retrieve the footage.

Time for a CP version to permit flight in more than 1 kt of wind! I would even settle for a programmable receiver (rate hold, anyone?).

May well be indestructable, but I'm gonna keep trying. Many mishaps with mine (never in water though), but I haven't had to replace anything, not evev a prop!

I've destroyed it damn good once or twice LOL. Never more than $20 to get back in the air. Best one yet was a dive from WAAAAAAAY up trying to pull out as low as possible... negative several feet is apparently too low LOL.
