I am pretty sure most of the expansive components were ordered with our money. Then the build of 50 helis takes time. Even the manual does, as is evident. I don't want to sound sarcastic. I really do not care for a little delay within reason. We embarked in a project that is shouldered by 3 guys, I am not expecting miracles, their service is already impeccable so far.

I agree, as long as we are kept in the loop, I'm fine with getting a perfect heli in sept. I would rather wait for perfection than get a rush job. If you don't have patience in this hobby, you are flying Align!

Are you saying they only started ordering materials for production once people paid for their helis? Not sure how they can do that and still plan on making an Aug shipping date?

I think so yes, some not all, like titanium parts.

Are you jr or futaba Marcos? I am going to use the carbon fuse sats with mine. I need to get an extra canopy to be painted locally as well. This is very exciting. Just like the delivery of the Tdr after payment and 13 month wait list! Anticipation......................

Do you think it's worth going into such a specialized system? Does it have anything like S-Bus or satellites to work with Vbar or BeastX, etc? I wouldn't but only because I am 14 receivers deep into Futaba.

It has reasonable rx's and they are coming out with sats.
Supposedly they have the nicest gimbals of any system and tons of telemetry options available.

Probably only takes them a couple of hours to put a kit together. I know I could build a TDR in 3 hours. 4 people should be able to build 50 kits in a week? I'm holding out hope for the end of august.

IME there's a huge difference between making a kit and producing one - I think we'll be very lucky to have it in our hands by the end of the year!

Well that's probably the smart way to look at it. I would be happy if it showed up in sept.

When they announced release date and purchase process they did mention August, didn't they? They are receiving most parts, and the thread even mentions specifically that they already received a lot of other parts as well. 20 days left in august + add 10 or 15 more days of September, a month from now seems like a good time to start shipping, maybe it'll take them 10 or more days to ship them all. I am just wild guessing, I don't like when other people do this, so, let's leave it at "we'll see" hehehehe. Right now: IRCHA!

I waited, like many others, for almost a year when I ordered my TDR and was well worth the wait. I'd sure like to have the Banshee tomorrow, but I know that's not realistic. I consider myself fortunate that I was able to acquire one...let alone afford it. Somethings in life, we just don't have control over. Whether it's September or December or beyond, I doubt the joy of ownership will be diminished in the least bit by having to wait a little longer. I wonder how many people are on the list hoping one of us decides not to take delivery? That's one list I'm glad I'm not on....at least we know we're getting one.
