Align AH1W Super Cobra RTF - Custom Paint

Hello,

I am considering selling my most recent project to fund the next one. I built the model this summer, and only this past week completed the project. It is as faithful as I could make it to the HMLA-169's commanding officer helicopter stationed at Camp Pendelton in California. I am interested in a trade for a Compass 3D+ Nitro 50 helicopter, or to sell outright. My plans are to attend IRCHA and display the heli in the Scale Tent. It would be ideal to make a transaction at the IRCHA site to avoid a shipment. It has not yet been flown as complete. The new T-Rex 500 ESP mechanics performed perfectly prior to installation into the fuselage. Presently, it is stock, except that it has Vbar Blueline with 5.2 Pro. Also, it has a Thor 45C 6S2700 battery which balances it perfectly. Included would be the T-Rex 500 ESP items needed to convert back to the 3D model as well as the original Align 3G FBL unit. I would actually like to keep the Vbar, but it would require removal of the mechanics to uninstall it. Maybe this could be worked out. I could include.

A few extras: Scale Blades (display only) as shown, Spin 465mm Asymmetrical main blades, painted flat black, a variety of tail rotor blades (KBDD 84mm blades for flight), stock Align CF 425 mm main blades (and matching 72mm Align CF blades), scale ordinance (missiles) and mounts. Auxilliary fuel tanks, shown below. Perhaps most significantly, I fitted the elevated tail mechanism with HeliArtist much improved tail gear box. It has much more robust bevel gears as compared to the stock Align ones. The conversion wasn't easy, but it works perfectly. Also included is the stock gearbox as well.

I have reopened this item for sale. My buyer had an unfortunate mishap with another model today.

Let me know via pm if interested. I should call this a bind n fly package. It includes a Thor 45C 6S2700 pack which balances the model perfectly. I presently have the mechanics out on the bench while I make some paint touch ups and replacing a couple of insignia items where I chose to repaint. Paint scheme is unchanged. I have the actual pilots names to add to the side of the canopy who flew this bird when it was photographed in 2005 at the Miramar Airshow!
