Default My Beater heli HP05s/HP03T

I recently bought a HP05s/HP03T heli. The heli original
has a lot of vibrations. I use the o-ring to take care of that.
redo the feathering shaft and balance the blade etc.
After the tune up. the heli is flying great, close to perfect.
The tail locking is not as snappy as HP06v2, most likely
due to the tail blade is walkera.

This heli has Xtreme CF frame. I never use that frame
in my previous heli. My first impression is that the tail
mount is kind of weak. Now I have fly this bird for a while
and bad crash 4 times already. I am very surprise the
bird actually hold up pretty well. Nothing major breaks.

The usual suspect broken dog bone, pop the main gear.
The canopy mount are very flexible. It works very well
with the Xtreme canopy I put it on. The canopy actually
never fly out of the frame, I guess that is one of the
reason it provide good protection on the heli.

The walkera tail blade it come with was holding fine in air.
Not as good as the PRC blade. But it survive crash very
well. I am still using the same one it come with. 4 bad
crashes.

This HP05s is replacing my M5 as my main beater heli now.
It has very good power, the 550 battery can fly 5 minutes.
drop to 3.75-3.77V. Doing tic toc contentiously the head
speed drops a little bit. It is not HP06, sure. The tail is
holding much better than my M5/4G3 motor.

I really like this heli now. Pretty amazing how well it survive
my bad crashes. I am going to move the M5 to the firmware
experiment heli.

BTW, I crash my HP08 very badly once. The 2mm boom snap
right off where it come out from the MH X frame. Doesn't seem
to have other bad damage. I guess the snapping tail help saving
the rest of the heli. HP08 is still grounded. HP06v2 is still perfect
shelf queen. It fly perfectly, I am just afraid to fly it.

UPDATE: It is Xtreme frame not MH frame. About half price of
the MH frame. Add some pictures.

Nice. I flipped the tail motor. I put it on the other side of the boom so the wash from the prop blows over the tail motor.
