I tried my first loop and everything went well. I wasn't as hard as i thought it would be. After flying around for a few more tanks, as i lifted off to hover after refill, Something fly off the blades and made a funny sound. I shut the engine down and found that the stock wood blades have lost some of their covering. I don;t know why it came off, maybe to much stress from looping? I ordered a set of 550mm Rotor Tech blades. Have any of you guys used them and are they OK for 3d flying?

Hi 413,
I don’t know about the 550s but I use the 700mm Rotor Techs, They are my blade of choice. They are every bit as good or better then all the brands normally referred to, you will be happy and the improvement from the woodies will be shocking

When i was flying my 30 raptor i used a set of 550mm Rotor tech's. Thay were very good blades got a lot of flight time on them with out any problems. I think you will like them much better then the wood blades.
