GY611 vs GY601

hey, anyone who can tell me the difference between GY611 vs 601 ? I mean the preformancewise....thanks

Same gyro , different manufactuer of some compontents. 611 is suppose to be a little bit more resistent to drift. 601 is no longer manufacutered.

thanks Dave. I am new to the nitro heli and I have a buddy offered me an used GY601but I am deciding. I am going to get the Xtreme 50 so I need a better Gyro rather than using my GY401 as I concern it cannot handle the beast. What do you recommend ? thanks

Hi I have 2 Xtreme 50s with 601s and there awsome I don't think you would be able too feel the difference in Flight to the 611 The 401 will work but in Backwards flight etc the 601 will be a lot better.

A well set up 401 is fine on a 50 and will "hold" very well. Until you get to mixing piros into moving manuvers where piro consitency stands out you probably wouldn't notice a difference between a 401 and 600 series.

A good deal on a used 601, in the 200 dollar range, I'd go for it. I got a lightly used 611 for 250 shipped and they are about 320 new from Rons
