The holdup is here at Wren - as usual, everything always takes longer than we hoped it would. It's the testing process at the moment - for example, we had to test the gears to failure (not in the heli, on the test bench!) and were pleased to find that they could cope with much, much more than the engine would ever ask of them.
However, these things have to be fitted in around making engines for sale and it's difficult, a constant battle between production (making engines to sell now, because otherwise we won't have money to keep the company going) and development (new engines to take the company forward and bring in money in the future).

Talking ATTN Bergen and Wren fliers!!!

Announcement:

I just got off the phone with Sara and Chris B.

After showing them photos of my back yard test facility they will send me each of their newest designs so I will thouroghly test each airframe and turbine.

I have a very technical sand bucket device that my wife will dump on each heli in flight and for the turbine tests I will put my water hose to work.

I just want to earn my new hefty pay check from each of these quality companies.

If this new venture goes to plan maybe I can move up and test customers helis. ... Right Chris. B?

I got just the thing, a baseball bat and kiddy jungle gym in my backyard test ground.... No rush we can talk later.

We are making some progress on the 44 now, the prototype has over 30 flights on it and it's looking good. I've posted an update and video link at
