Hey guys i am going to run the stock motor the scorpion 5035-380 with a 18T pinion. Is the kontronik 160 big enough or does it need a kontronik 200. The YGE 160 seems to work just fine so I'm guessing the kontronik should also. I just want to know I have alot of headroom and it will be ok. I would like to put a kontronik 160 in it.

Use the head speed cal to see if when used that pinion and the governor in the kosmik whether you like the throttle percentages,,

Amperage wise I think you are fine, but you might find a different pinion will give you a better throttle percentage at your target head speed.
