Default just how much of a vibration is normal?

i'm trying to figure out today just how much of a vibration in the tail is normal. is it normal to be able to see the vib in the tailfin right around the hover point? it's weird because i thought it was a problem, but my 450 has about the same amount of shake. if you spool either of them up to about 1/3 stick and reach in (carefully!!) and touch the tail fin, it's like putting my hand on a concrete vibrator. some of this goes away once in a hover, but most of it is still there. i checked the balance of the tail blades last night, and they were different by 2/10th's of a gram. i balanced them out and will test it out today, but still the question remains. how much vib is considered normal? does anyone have a vid that is perhaps focused on the tail fin? strange how both my birds do this....

I find this with the plastic tail fin, but does not seem to happen with the CF one? (on the 450)

well you should strive to remove every vibe inducing imbalance you can, try removing the whole tail and balancing it on a high point balancer to see if that helps

balanced the tail and the vib is still there. the only thing that i can think of is the tailshaft is tweaked a bit. it's not bent looking to the naked eye, but that means nothing. check my thread in the main heli forum to see what happened last night whilst trying to diagnose it. not pretty.
