Great this thread was bumped again. The lie from LHS: "The Honeybee CP2 is excellent to learn on".

Continously trimming the tail until it finally gives up is rare. His source is one of many of the best lies. It's printed on the box. This RotoFly is a great starter/learner and fun to fly. This Blade CP Pro is capable of 3D flight. Truth; the glitchy radio will do it for you frequently without any imputs to do so. Yet very stable. Truth; On the bench. Or when you disconnect the batt from the tangled mess. |

Ah yes, that's why I never look at my AMEX "summaries" and my wife doesn't have access to 'that' card!!! I bought and built 3 700N's, 2 700E's, 2 600N's, 2 550E's and waiting on two Goblins... I'd say I'm somewehre in the 25K range over the past 12 months.... It's a hobby I enjoy, so I don't mind dropping the cash on it! Plus I had enough points to get my wife several hundred dollars worth of gift certificates lol

Person 1: Iv'e improved so much in my 3d!! I can do pretty much any trick there is. I am actually getting pretty bored because there is nothing more to learn.
Me: Wow. You just started last year and you are way better than me. Post a video. Person 1: I fly alone so I can't record my flight. Me: Record a flight on Realflight and email it to me so I can see..Or I can host a room so we can fly together. Person 1: uuuuuuuuuuggghhhhhh.... My computer is acting crazy... (real conversation I had with someone. Still haven't seen that video) |

I don't bag on people that have a positive outlook and are very optimistic. We are all learning and get pretty excited when we successfully accomplish a trick, but you do run into a few that are just so erogant.
I have had experience where pilots would say, "I can do this and I can do it all day." "This guy I fly with can do all of those tricks, but better" "I can piro flip and do inverted hurricanes." "I can't do the trick now, I think there is something wrong with my heli." Then when you go out to fly with them, a couple things come out to be very striking. 1. Very dangerous flyer. Pilot flys all over the place and doesn't really have control of his/her heli. 2. The maneuvers that this pilot claims that he/she can do can barely be done in front of you. |

"If you are capable to fly 3D, then your not capable to do scale flying because it is more dificult..."
(Trust me, this comment came from an old scale heli pilot) |

I would personally seek medical help immediately and at the same time cut up your cards as fast as you can

Heard this from a guy once "I'm really good at 3d I just really enjoy hovering...."
Sent from my iPhone while flying skids up and racing on the interstate

Take out the most part of that statement, and I would agree. I know more than one scale pilot that could shame most 3D guys. Including me!
biggist lie I have heard. "Oh, the Trex 450 is the greatest heli ever made. They fly great right out of the box". $1500 later, and it really does fly great.

You can say the same about 3d.. most are terrible pilots too.. very few are truly under control
